Internet Hotspot
The mobile hotspot allows you to connect WiFi-enabled devices (laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc.) to the internet. The hotspot is portable so you can connect from almost anywhere and they can support up to 10 devices at a time.
Hotspots check out for one week. This item is popular, so you'll need to place a hold on it in order to borrow one.
Our hotspots utilize the T-Mobile network. Signal strength and connectivity is dependent on strength of signal from the T-Mobile network in your location.
You must have had your library card for at least six months in order to check out a hotspot.

The home connectivity kit includes:

Chargers for the included devices that require them

The home energy savings kit includes supplies and information to help you make your home more energy efficient. The kit includes some pieces you can keep and some that need to be returned.

The Learn to Knit Kit includes:
Knitting for Beginners book
Laminated sheet with QR codes for how-to videos

MOXI Pass
Check out a MOXI membership card to cover the admission of two adults (18+) and up to five children (17 and under) at the MOXI museum in Santa Barbara. Visit moxi.org or call 805-770-5000 to plan your trip.

Parks Pass
In partnership with the First Partner's Office and the California State Library, State Parks is providing free vehicle day-use entry to over 200 participating state parks to library card holders. The Parks Pass is valid for entry of one passenger vehicle with capacity of nine people or less or one highway licensed motorcycle.
The Parks Pass checks out for one week. You can check out the pass by placing a hold or talking to a staff member at the Lompoc or Village libraries.

Virtual Reality Headset
The Oculus Quest virtual reality headset allows you to play virtual reality games. All you need is the headset, a Wi-Fi connection, and a smartphone. The headset includes adjustable straps and optional eyeglass spacer for use with corrective lenses.
