Central Coast Literacy Council

The Literacy Program provides basic reading and writing instruction to adults with low literacy skills. The goal of the program is to reduce illiteracy in Lompoc and promote life-long learning.

To qualify as a student, adults must meet the following requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older and not enrolled in high school
  • Able to communicate comfortably in English
  • Willing to make a six month commitment (two to three hours per week)
